Exceptional expressions of the KTM Ready to Race concept, the two 690 LC4 versions in 2023 are only updated in their aesthetics, confirming their high performance. In addition to being one of the strongest single cylinder engines available on the market, KTM's LC4 is also the most fuel efficient.

Built for racing and born in 1987 with a displacement of 553 cc, its evolution reached 693 cc and powered two important KTM models: the KTM 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R. Both will be available in model year 2023 starting from the first months of the new year and feature new graphics, inspired by the colors of the KTM racing enduro range for the 690 Enduro R, while they have new blue and orange finishes for the 690 SMC R.

As far as technical equipment is concerned, both 690 LC4s have LCD screens that display speed and engine rpm, as well as warning lights. In addition, both bikes are equipped with cornering-type ABS, which allows them to harness full braking power even when leaning hard. A key feature of the KTM 690 Enduro R is ABS Offroad, which limits the intervention of the ABS on its front wheel while deactivating it completely on its rear wheel.

As of the SMC R, this functionality has been replaced by ABS Supermoto . It is also possible, if desired, to reduce the ABS on the front wheel and deactivate it completely at the rear, allowing maximum modulation and management of the rear wheels when cornering. SMC R and the Enduro R are designed for mountain roads and make their way onto the track, while the Dakarian Xavier de Soultrait achieved great results at the TransAnatolia Rally.
