The new and innovative three-wheeled scooters from Yamaha are the Tricity 125 and Tricity 155 Blue Core Euro 5 engines.

The Yamaha Tricity 125 will be equipped with a new Blue Core Euro 5 engine in 2022, as well as a modified frame to improve comfort and stability. The new and more powerful Tricity 155 is also debuted alongside this three-wheeled model.

The new Tricity 125 and Tricity 155 models are now available.

Sporty, with refined and recognised stylistic characteristics that convey agility and vitality. There are minor alterations to the body around the footboard area and the main power switch, as well as a new rear fender, due to the technical modifications of the new chassis.

The Smart Key starting technology on the new Tricity 125 also allows you to unlock the handlebar and open the saddle. On an LCD panel, new instrumentation is displayed with interaction via Yamaha's MyRide app, which connects the smartphone to the scooter system. The new connected instruments are based on the same design as the Tricity 300, emphasising the Tricity overview's shared technology.

Yes also intervenes on the headlamp to suggest a more evenly spread light, both downwards and upwards. A large footboard and improvements to the passenger footrests are among the interesting features. There is a new defined adaption of the footrests for the passenger, which are easier to withdraw when folded, and a bigger footboard region with more space in the front.

As previously stated, the new Tricity 125 has a redesigned frame design. It comes with a 60mm longer wheelbase and reworked engine mounts for improved overall balance. An increase in torsional and longitudinal rigidity, as well as a controlled level of flexibility, all contribute to the new design's dynamic. The more advanced LMW Ackermann system's updated steering characteristics are also noted.

In terms of driving, the rear suspension system has been enhanced with a double shock absorber to accommodate the new chassis design. To make the 90 mm long suspension action more progressive, the overall length of the rear shock absorbers has been increased. Depending on stability, the spring adjustment and damping resistance are also increased.

The Tricity 125 has a unique 3-wheel layout with two tilting front wheels, which is unusual in the 125 cc category. The design of the fundamental tie rod section is comparable to the solution committed for Niken Sport Tourer and Tricity 300, and the optimization involves a layout with tilt axle somewhat offset from the steering axle.

When the rear brake is applied, the braking system has an improved Unified Brake System (UBS), which automatically distributes the braking force to the front and rear wheels.

The new Yamaha Tricity 125 is equipped with a Euro 5 engine that has Yamaha's Blue Core technology for reduced emissions and VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) for improved acceleration.

A new Stop & Start technology meant to turn off the engine when the car is motionless and restart it automatically when the accelerator is pressed is one of the most intriguing features. The 32-bit Starter Generator Control Unit (SGCU) monitors efficiency by constantly monitoring driving circumstances and preventing repeated stops and starts, such as when in traffic. As shown, the innovative Smart Motor Generator technology directly uses the motor shaft. It has a power output of 9.0 kW at 8,000 rpm and may be driven with a B licence. Switching to the more powerful Tricity 155.

The braking system, which includes 220 mm and 230 mm disc brakes, ABS, a parking brake, and a Euro 5 certified Blue Core engine, is highlighted, but there are some differences, such as the braking system, which includes 220 mm and 230 mm disc brakes, as well as a parking brake and a Euro 5 approved 155cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke engine. The power is 11.1 kW at 8,000 rpm.

Original accessories for the Tricity 125 and Tricity 155 are varied, with windshields, bags, and other items available, as well as casual attire options for individuals who ride the Tricity 125 and Tricity 155. Two additional colours are available for the new Yamaha Tricity 125 and Tricity 155: Petrol Blue and Sand Gray. Matt Gray is also an option for the models.
