Moto Guzzi racing Fast Endurance award (2022 Model) the debut of the V7 with 850 cc engine in a racing guise.

Six races starting from 14 May 2022 on the Vallelunga track . In the fourth edition of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy, the new V7 equipped with the GCorse Racing Kit and Pirelli tires will also be the protagonist on the track .

The new season

Six appointments are scheduled on interesting Italian tracks, including the Cremona Circuit and the Mugello circuit . An evening appointment at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is also scheduled .
The next single-make, which obtained the recognition of the prestigious FIM Europe European Cup title awarded in the centenary year , is made up of six “mini endurance” starting from two races in Vallelunga scheduled for 14 and 15 May , both lasting 60 minutes . Subsequently, two other stages are scheduled with 90-minute races at the Cremona Circuiton July 17 and August 28 in Mugello . Finally, the last two races on the asphalt of Misano on 15 and 16 October .

The 90-minute premiere is scheduled for Saturday evening to be held with the spotlight and the headlights of the V7s fitted for the occasion. An idea recovered from what was expected for the 2020 season, unfortunately conditioned by the spread of the pandemic linked to COVID-19. The Sunday race, on the other hand, lasts 60 minutes .

Updates on the series and how to participate are available on the Moto Guzzi portal and on that of the Italian Motorcycle Federation.
On the race weekends there are two timed practice sessions and each driver has 20 minutes at his disposal . The average of the best times obtained by the crew determines the starting position in one or both of the appointments on the agenda on that track.
The start is always carried out in "Le Mans" style with the bikes positioned on one side of the carriageway and the riders on the other side, ready to sprint to reach the vehicle and leave.

Each driver cannot drive for more than 15 minutes, in addition to 5 minutes to return to the pits from the moment the “change” sign is displayed. At least three or five pit lane changes are expected, depending on the expected duration of the race. No refueling is possible and at the end of each race points are awarded to the first 15 teams classified.

In the next edition of the Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance Trophy it will still be possible to participate in the saddle of the racing version of the Moto Guzzi V7 III . The crews on the “seven and a half” models equipped with the GCorse Racing Kit will compete in the races together with the other formations, appearing however in a separate classification.
The collaboration with Pirelli, the sole supplier of the Trophy, has also been confirmed. The bikes will always wear Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp RS tires .

Also the new Moto Guzzi V7 with 850 cc unitsare set up to compete thanks to the work of the Guareschi brothers, historic Moto Guzzi preparers, who have developed a GCorse Racing Kit dedicated to the new model considering the experience acquired in the first three editions of the Trophy. An even faster bike is expected, with refined chassis qualities that make the specimen even more precise.
